Glaize Crappie Report

Glaize has been really good for numbers of crappie. Size is not the biggest. You can catch your limit of 9 to 10 inch crappie pretty regularly. I have not had to use minnows. Bobby Garland baby shad with a crappie nibble is working fine. 1/8oz jig head, 8lb test, and your favorite crappie rod. Many fish are being caught in the condo docks about 15 feet deep. Fish can be suspended in 8 feet. This a starting point. They can be anywhere chasing small shad and minnows. Yesterday we caught fish in 4 feet of water, and some out to 25 feet. Brush is a bonus. Some fish are not on brush. Some are grouping on points, mainlake bluffs, and secondary points. Right now is a great time for crappie!
